On August 8th, 2018 UTM Library KL join a reading program with anak-anak gelandangan at Pusat Transit Gelandangan Medan Tuanku Kuala Lumpur. The initiative is a collaboration between CCIN UTM KL, NGO Pustaka Jalanan, Toy Library of Razak Faculty, Projek Kasih For You, and Pusat Islam UTM Kuala Lumpur. The program starts around 8 pm and the Library provides books for the children and the people there to pick and read. It was such an eye-opener for all of us. A new experience, a new perspective and teaches us to be more empathetic and understanding. The Library hopes it will be continuous initiatives to increase awareness and pray that one may be able to change one’s life through reading.
