UTM Library, in collaboration with the Akademi Tamadun Islam, successfully conducted an engaging Arabic-language training session titled “البحث الفعّال مع المنهل” (Effective Research with Al-Manhal) on Monday, 5 May 2025 at the UTM Library. The session attracted 39 participants, including students and academic staff interested in strengthening their research and information-seeking skills using Arabic resources.
The one-hour programme guided participants through a practical exploration of the Al-Manhal database, a leading platform for Arabic scholarly publications. The trainer introduced key features of the database, including efficient search techniques, navigating e-books and journals, and using filtering tools to refine academic searches. Participants also learned how to access full-text materials and make the most of Al-Manhal’s user-friendly interface.
