UTM Library in collaboration with Emerald Insight has co-organized a webinar session entitled Supporting Your Research Webinar 2023: “Let’s Explore Emerald Insight”. This session was conducted on 12th June 2023 from 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm.
The speaker for this webinar is Ms. Wong or better known as Ms. Bernice. She graduated from University of Putra Malaysia. She embarked on the publishing industry in early 2010 with McGraw-Hill Education, where she is tasked with the sales, marketing, and product awareness to the higher education market in Malaysia.
In 2015, she joined John Wiley & Sons, commonly known as WILEY, as Sales Manager, Education Department looking after the region across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the Philippines. She actively supports fellow faculty members on blended learning and the transition from traditional to digital learning with the available blended learning products and services to improve the efficacy and efficiency of the entire learning process. After 7 successful years in WILEY, she took on a new challenge and joined Emerald Publishing in the Year 2022. Emerald Publishing is the leading Social Sciences Publisher from the United Kingdom. She joined Emerald Malaysia, which is the regional office for the East Asia region. She resumes the role of Business Manager and oversees both the Malaysia and Brunei market. She is committed and passionate about working closely with libraries and faculties to promote research content, teaching aides, and student resources. She has been invited as a speaker for a publication webinar, a guide to getting published workshop, and another research and publishing-related workshop.
