Book Sharing Program for 2/2020 series invited two reviewers. They were Nik Nurhidayu Nik Mut, Research Officer, UTM KL and Emad Thakur, Postgraduate Student, UTM KL. The program was conducted on January 23rd, 2020 (Thursday), 8.30 am at Perpustakaan Menara Razak, UTM KL.

The first reviewer, Nik Nurhidayu Nik Mut shared a book entitled “How to Get From Where You Are To Where You Want To Be” by Jack Canfield. The contents about the book touch on how to create a vision, set goals, break them down into a few steps, anticipate obstacles, and plan how to deal with them. The author also explained how to visualize and affirm success and believe in yourself and your dreams. The 25 success principles are overwhelming, but taking action is the most important step. All of the changes will take time and it is up to the reader to find what is best for them. The author concluded by saying that you and you alone are responsible for taking actions. Commit to start now and get on with it by using them to create the life of your dreams.

Emad Thakur shared a book entitled The Grand Design

The second reviewer, Emad Thakur shared a book entitled “The Grand Design by Stephen Hawking”. The author explained the origin and purpose of the universe from a scientific point of view. The book enlightened the concept of the formation of the universe in earlier times. From ancient Greeks to Galileo, Newton to Feynman, basic classical theories to the formulation of M-theory and try to explain the fundamental questions related to Universe.

This book based on a lot of intellectual things that we have already think about daily. “New answers to the ultimate questions of life” was featured on the cover of the book, thus the content successfully gives the answers.
