The service is heavily subsidised. The library pays £9.10 for each article and £14.65 for each loan.

Assists scholarly research by obtaining library materials unavailable in UTMLibrary. ILL locates needed materials by borrowing books or obtaining photocopied materials on behalf of UTM Library patron from other libraries/institutions inside or outside the country.
