A collaboration between Language Academy and UTM Library, User Education Webinar with Language Academy via Webex platform has been conducted from 28th March 2021 – 30th March 2021.
This is a continuous program from last year in assisting students during the MCO period to replace the usual face-to-face User Education Program conducted by UTM Library. A total of 1095 participants have joined the program at 6 different sessions. Participants have been exposed to modules that focusing on information literacy strategy according to the subject area of the faculty/school/department.
Besides that, they have also been taught with information searching skills method to search online databases subscribed by UTM Library, Endnote (Reference Manager), and Turnitin (Plagiarism Tool) usage. Participants are also informed of access to UTMMOOC: Library Skills module which is an online course for library users.
