UTM Library Kuala Lumpur had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Universitas Pakuan Bogor, Indonesia on 4 December 2023, Monday. The visit commenced at 9 am and lasted until 11 am. During that time, our library played host to 10 esteemed visitors, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Didik Notosudjono, University Rector, and Wildan Fauzi Mubarock, Chief Librarian.

The warm reception began with a cordial welcome from our dedicated librarians. A brief but insightful briefing was provided by Puan Nik Masriza Zakaria, Head of UTM Library KL, at Read Cafe@UTM Library, located in He & She Coffee, Menara Razak. The setting provided an informal yet enriching environment for the exchange of information and ideas.

Following the briefing, the delegation had the opportunity to explore the vast resources of our main library at Bangunan Perpustakaan Sultanah Zanariah. This visit facilitated the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas, fostering a deeper understanding between our institutions. The visit not only showcased the wealth of resources available at UTM Library but also emphasized the importance of international cooperation in advancing academic excellence.

In a delightful addition to our library’s collection, UTM Library received two new books entitled Gadis Kretek and Rumah Harapan. We are excited to add a diversity and cultural richness to our library that can be borrowed soon. We look forward to more collaborative initiatives that will contribute to the global exchange of knowledge and the enhancement of our academic community.

Our sincere gratitude to our esteemed guests from Universitas Pakuan Bogor for this meaningful visit and we hope to welcome them again in the near future.
