Clarivate in collaboration with UTM Library has co-organized an online webinar in conjunction with UTM Library Research Weeks 2021 entitled Avoiding the Pitfalls of Publishing in Predatory Journals using the new Journal Citation Reports. The webinar was conducted on 21st September 2021 from 10.30 am to 11.45 am by Mrs. Dju-Lyn Chng (Regional Solution Consultant Clarivate). A total of 244 participants have joined the webinar.
The publication talk covers a topic on:
• Learn how to use the new Journal Citation Reports to make strategic decisions on which journals to publish in.
• Introduction to the Journal Citation Indicator.
• Understanding other key metrics for journal evaluation beyond impact factor and avoid the pitfalls of publishing in predatory journals.
