Loan Periods & Fines
All registered members are allowed to borrow library materials according to their eligibility. Loan eligibility and borrowing period differ according to the borrower types. Borrowing can be done either at the Self-Check machines or at the Circulation Counter. To enable borrowing of library materials, student/staff is required to ACTIVATE your library account by log in with UTMID via https://opac.utm.my.

Material Loan
1. All registered users are entitled for loan according to category and eligibility fixed by the library.
2. Material loan can be made at the Library counter or through self-check service provided by the Library.
4. Users are not allowed to make loan for the following reasons; having outstanding fine, having book with overdue loan period, overlimit number of loan.
Material Renewal
1. Renewal can be made at library counter or online through UTM OCEAN
2. Renewal can only be made if the material is not reserved by other user.
3. Renewal shall be made within 3 days before return date via online/circulation counter/self-check machine.
4. Only two (2) renewals are allowed for Open Access book.
5. Online renewal is not allowed for overdue material.

Terms & Conditions
For online payment
The minimum payment is RM1 and the payment record will be updated with 15 minutes
An additional charge of Rm050 will be imposed by the bank of FPX payment.
Payment of fines is allowed only after the overdue item (s) has been returned.
