COLLECTIONS
The Library acquires and provides relevant materials such as books, journals, electronic media, audio visuals, maps and aerial photographs in order to support the University’s teaching, learning, research and consultancy activities.
The Library acquires materials pertaining to the history and progress of the University as part of building up the UTM archive collection.
The Library allocates resources for each faculty from its annual library budget or the acquisition of library materials.
The allocation is determined by a number of criteria such as students numbers, new courses introduced, collection development and average cost of books and periodical subscription.
The library welcomes suggestions for additions to our collection from
